I just bought a backup for my old, trusty Binks 2001. I know there are better, newer guns out there today, but heck, my Binks still get the job done.
Anyway, this new gun has a feature mine don't have, and I love it so I want to buy the part for my old Binks.
Its a plastic cup that attaches right under the cup lid. It works do that I don't have to put a "diaper" on the gun when its full, and I'm painting a vertical surface [like a hood, or roof/top].
Here is a picture of it. I can't find out what it is, nor a picture on the net so, I need some help.........thanks.
What is this part of my paint gun. Binks 2001........

I usually find it's easier to leave the car on the floor than roll it over so the roof and bonnet are vertical. That part is just a seal that stops the drips either from the air hole or around the top edge of the pot. I've seen them before, years ago, but the only siphon feed gun I have left has a seal in the cap so doesn't need something like you have. I'd suggest you try Binks or one of their bigger distributors. Chris
