Hello all,
I have a craftsman 2hp 230v 20 gallon compressor rated at 7.8scfm @ 40psi and
6.3scfm @ 90psi. I know this is inadequate for automotive painting, but my purpose is
to paint some art pieces. Basically sheet metal boxes about 2ft. x 2ft. x 6" deep.I would
like some advice about what kind of gun I should be looking for. A low cfm. HVLP or LVLP
gun? I am hoping to spend $200 or less. I was thinking about base/clear coat, but I would
be open to advice. I want a quality , durable finish with a lot of available color options.
Sorry for the remedial nature of my question. Looking to get started, any advice would

Take a look at the Iwata mini guns. Very good but not under $200.
