Sanding is taking awhile. Please help.

Hey I am sanding my car with a 6 inch sander with 40 grit and a 12 gallon compressor but it is taking awhile to get down to primer. I was wondering ifr I should get a bigger compressor or a bigger sander. Thanks for the help.

Need more specifics on the tools and compressor you are using to sand with?

a 12 gallon compressor is way too small for air tools other than nail guns, in my opinion.
are you going to be spraying your own car? |
