Well, that line of thought is confirmed on the previous 4500 model. I couldn't find the transfer efficiency spec.s on the 4600 however I found them on the 4500. When set up with the HVLP caps the gun is at 75% transfer and is rated at 65% with the non HVLP caps.

 these are my current guns good transfer with minimal over spray. I would call them fog guns.Jay D. they say my name is Jay
