I was wondering what you guys are using for air filtration.
I have a Hankison HIT20 refrigerated air dryer. My current filter is a Lowes regulator/ filter. I was looking to get a better filter.

I have a line up on a Sharpe Dryaire 6760 for $200.

My question is...
With the refrigerated dryer, do I need the desiccant filter?

What would you guys recommend?

Thanks,
Sorry about the 2nd post..the Body and Paint seems to get more traffic then the other topics

i'm not familiar with your equipment but it really depends on your plumbing humidity in your area and so on. one thing I can tell you is that filtering air for painting purposes you can't have to much, dry air is a must.

Thanks for the response. I ended up picking up the Dryaire. Yes PainterDave, it is used. For $200 it sounded like a great deal
