My painter's suit is getting old and I am looking for a replacement. Prices are all over the map on these things so I thought I would ask what other's are using.

My old suit is an Astro Pneumatic:
Washable and Reusable
• This all purpose lightweight protective suit is easy to clean and lint free
• Full zipper front, Hook & Loop sleeve fasteners, full hood, elastic waist and rear pocket
• Made of antistatic material
• Comes in white nylon front, sleeves and hood and blue breathable cotton backside

Runs about $30 shipped.

I have mine custom made in a two piece style.

Apart from getting a comfortable fit the hood is part of the top and shaped to fit my head rather than some of the rooster shapes you get in off the shelf variants.

Simple nylon fabric for summer and a heavier style for winter, elasticised cuffs and waist plus a pocket in the top.

Cost, with zips etc, probably around $20, depending on the fabric. Labour cost? Nothing, but that's the advantage of being married to a tailor.

I use one just like in the attached picture. It's kinda overkill, but seems to work good for me. It's pretty light, almost like parachute material. My work was changing suppliers or colors or something, so they gave them away, I got 2 or 3 of them for free. Could call this place, maybe they'd have some obsolete stock or ones returned from vendors or something. These are from Aramark. Machine washable and very reusable. I'm sure there are lots of others out there like it as well. I would think better quality than what the paint suppliers sell. I'm big guy, so I never could use the painter suits, they never was big enough.

I bought a Bunch of Tyvek suits back when I first got set up back then they fit.
Now I am older and rounder they no fit so well. So I am looking for New ones too.

just my opinion but the Tyvek rip and tear easily and they don't fit a well rounded painter.
