Looking at the flexzilla 3/8 hose in 50' range for my home garage setup. The hose comes with1/4 npt ends and I am wondering if there is a better solution or if I shouldn't worry about it. I have 3/4 copper pipe going to a regulator/filter/desiccant dryer setup with 3/4 in and 3/4 out.

I am going to have to choke down from 3/4 to 1/4 at the hose to main line connection.

Thoughts?

It's only 20'x20'. My thought is I could go all the way around the car. Thinking about it, you are right 50' seems way too long. The connection would be mid point if one wall so really only need about 25'. I have a 50' reel for air tool use.

Was planning to use the Milton V high flow fittings on the gun side but Is there anything I can do about the hose to regulator connection? I am going to have multiple fittings to go from 3/4 down to 1/4 NPT.

Dave thanks for the reply and pics. Looks like your blue filter setup is a 1/2 drop that reduces to 3/8 out of the regulator and 1/4 on the hose going into the cabinet?

My system is obviously not as nice but I have a 3/4" port out of my regulator that will require multiple fittings to get to 1/4 for my 3/8 hose. Should I go with a 1/2 hose where I can get 3/8 or even 1/2 npt ends? Or just stick with what I am looking at?

I have heard 1/2 hoses are over kill and hard to maneuver.

Would like to find a 3/8 hose with 3/8 ends but maybe I am overthinking this.
