Howdy,
I recently started working at an rv paint shop and soon we'll be going from hourly pay to peace rate. Specifically, I work in the prep department sanding fiberglass parts and I'm looking for ways to increase my output rate so as to make as much as possible. I'm pretty fast right now, and my quality is very high (never compromised for speed), but I know there are vets out there who have some good info!
Any tips on fiberglass prepping would be much appreciated. The only specific question I have right now is, what are the best d/a sander discs out there? My employer offers cheap discs, but I know from using a few 3m discs that disc quality greatly effects speed. And I don't mind investing a little money to up my output. Once we go to peace rate they'll probably pay for themselves.
Thanks in advance for any help!
-Jeff
