Hey guys! I have been struggling for about a month now trying to figure out what is going on with this hood. I have a 04 clk500 Mercedes. I ordered a after market hood for it due to a front end collsion. For some unknown reason the hood extends to far over the headlight on the passenger side. I have checked all the headlight brackets thinking it may be a headlight issue. I have the hood pretty much aligned and all the brackets on the headlight are good. Please help i have no idea what is going on. I am not sure how to post pictures on here.

how much difference are we talking about? i'm not to familiar with that car but you may need to look past the head light brackets to were they are mounted. like if they are attached to the core support it could have been pushed back and not show any damage. also the aftermarket hood could be shorter on one side, sounds strange but I've seen things like that.

You can click the "upload attachment" at the bottom of the page that appears while you are typing a response and then choose to place it inline once it loads. Just be sure to click on the spot in the text where you want the picture to appear.

Or you can open a free account on Photobucket or something similar and then place the IMG link in this text box.
