Hey guys,

I am looking for some suggestions on products.

I am modifying a set of fiberglass fenders to fit a different car and want to layout a grid pattern on both the car and the fiberglass fenders. I will be doing the work over a few months (probably 5 to 8 months to be honest with myself  ) and want a tape that will lift after a long period without having to redo it.

Any suggestions?

thanks.
Matt

pay special attention to what Dave said about Quality Automotive tape. don't run down to the local Walmart store and buy it for .29 a roll, you'll be sorry.

$0.29 a roll? Can you pick me up a couple of boxes?

OP did say fineline and generally that's a plastic tape with a glue that shouldn't dry out. I'd be using only the 3M stuff and keeping the time that it's on as short as possible.

yes he did say fine line, but maybe knowing that the normal paper tape will work as well he can save a few bucks
