i think you need to adjust your fluid control. I usually run mine wide open. might try reducing your clear a little too!

in the teckna book, the psi is 16-22. I try 16 and 22 and i don't saw any difference, i already have an orange peel. For the paint volume control, in the book the adjustement is:full close the needle and came back until i saw the first tread of the adjusting screw. i try this adjustement but i already have an orange peel. the ambient tenperature can be so true and make a real difference to have or don't have an orange peel?

thanks a lot

i try tomorrow with the paint volume control close more than the original adjustement!

i try with a cheaper gun to reduce a bit a clearcoat but i don't have a good result to!

Which gun are you using ?

You might need to increase your pressure but as I don't know which gun you're using it's a stab in the dark really

Are you setting the psi with the trigger pulled full open?
You should tape a piece of masking paper on the wall and adjust your gun.
Hold it the proper distance from the paper and squeeze the trigger for one full second then let go.
The pattern should be cigar shaped and have very fine, consistent droplets throughout with no runs. There should be full coverage throughout the pattern.

Wet sanding is always on my list at some level or another 98% of he time when I paint.

Think this might buff?

Having done two projects now, I think the most important lesson learned for me was "Replacing fenders and doors is better than repairing them."
