I'm shipping around for paint and one store has a gallon of matrix mpd fire red for 790, next is 630 then the next is 470! I want a good quality and a decent price which is why I didn't go with ppg or DuPont. Plus I've had good experience with mpd. Do I go for the cheaper shop since it should be the same paint as the 790$?

if you are sure it's the same...I'd say so. I think it is odd though that there would be that drastic of a price difference so I would make sure it's an apples/apples compare...

My local paint store wanted $970 for a gallon of Ford G2 red fire metallic paint in DBC. I found a paint store in NY that was able to mix me the same paint for $414 shipped. I have not received the paint yet so I can't vouch for them but the owner seemed legit. I'll know in about a week.
