Hi everybody, This is my second post.
I bought a 1979P125x Vespa scooter that I wanted to restore. It runs well and the frame which is also the body, is in good condition with the exception of some rusty spots on the floor. I am also on the Vespa Forum and they are slamming me about painting and I should keep it original. I get that, but truthfully I do want it to look good. It is not a collectable, in fact it is probably one of the most common older scoots. I will show some pictures once I figure out how to do that on this forum. Any thoughts on this?

its yours do it in what ever color YOU like, you'll be much happier with the project. you're not painting it to make someone else happy.
