Been working on a project lately and have been cropping out and replacing some rot. Is rattle can self etch primer the same quality as conventional sprayed product. Not shooting the whole car just a few small repairs? I was just going to shoot an epoxy sealer over the whole thing but thinking just a hi build as the rest of it is in good shape then block it out. Any thoughts?

I use a rattle can etch for small repair jobs if I scrub thru to metal on edges, seems to work well
altho etch is only an adhesion promoter, it don't seal up the metal and stop it from rusting, epoxy will do this aswell as adhesion promoter, even direct to metal primers wont seal up the metal to prevent rust krem |
