First post. Getting ready to spray & I notice the Ful-Bas calls for 483-30 activator. They gave me 483-79. Does this matter? Or did they expect me to spray my base with out activator?

they say the full base SHOULD be activated but you can use it with no activator. the 483-30 is the correct activator for your full base the 483-79 is for there 498 clear. now what a lot of us do is use a little of the clear activator in our base that may be what your paint dealer had in mind. you should check with him, this way saves you from buying the 483-30.

That's what I did. Turned out ok. Could have been a little smoother flow out, which was confusing because it started blushing.
