cut and buffed 2 week old painted truck burnt through the clear/base driver side door lower corner of edge not on the edge the burnt area is almost the size of a quarter grey is the sealeri still have gallon left over of paint and clear my question is, is it possible to spot repair this (steps: scuff, primer, base on that spot and clear whole door) or would i need to blend? it to quarter panel? and also could i spot clear it? and how? any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks :D

That doesn't look like a standard burn through to me. Looks more like an adhesion failure since it resembles chipped off paint.

That's the normal way to repair that.
some may blend the clear in without clearing the entire door
but it doesn't really save you that much-clear the entire door.

now that you point it out it does look like adhesive problem/ paint crack but i did burn through with the buffer i stayed in that one spot too long at 2000 rpm nd it just sliced right through it o.O and thanks jcclark and thanks 68 coronet for the pic and advice :worthy:
