Hi All

I have a car with deep scratches on the door and on quarter panel and was wondering would it be possible to repair and blend in without doing the whole side.

I have sprayed metallic before with good results but am a little unsure about spraying the middle of a door and quarter panel.

Pics attached

Regards

Chris

From what I can tell in that pic I'd say the damage is far enough back on the door to limit ur repair to just the door and quarter. Spay technique is important but blend prep is just as important, especially on silver, sometimes it's easier to take ur blend further (into the fender in this case) than it is to fight with it and try to keep the blend smaller.

Hi

What's the best procedure to prep the paint on the door so the spray gets a good grip without damaging the areas I'm blending into ?

Regards

Chris

You look to have a nice vehicle. Take it somewhere and have it repaired properly. It will save you money in the long run. I'm sure its not what you wanna hear but its true.
