Hey guys... I am a new to the whole paint thing... Been doing a lot of research ... This is what I have so far

I fixed my dents on my car maybe like 3 or 4. .. Sanded it down with 80 grit... body filled sanded back down with with 180 grit... Then I sanded my whole car with a da sander with 180 grit sand paper...ok with that I am painting my car the same color.. What should I use to primer it..??? Also not trying to spend tons of money on it...
What I want to do is primer it... Then sand it.. Then clean then base then clear... Can I do it like that.. Or do I need to seal it or anything ... Thanks

If it's factory original paint you're going over, you really don't
even have to prime it, except any spots that have any kind of
fillers or putties on it for body work.
If you want to prime and sand and don't need the high filling
primers for body work finishing, use epoxy primer.
It is a great sealer and greatly increases adhesion, only drawback is it
is very slow so you may have to wait a couple of days for it
to sand well. It only takes a couple of coats, sand it with 600 and
it's ready for paint.
Epoxy primer really decreases the road rash, makes the paint stick better.

(It's not custom painting-it's custom sanding)
