So it's been a month or so.... been busy with harvest and so forth....but I got her painted.....is there anyone that can recommend what to do where the two colors meet? Should I leave as is? I can't find anywhere, anything that matches the original tape stripe that came on my truck....had the multi line green and white stripes. What else would look good? Surely somebody has run into this before. It's there anyplace that will custom make tape stripes to match your colors? I don't know what to do. Here is a before and after picture... not sure if you can zoom in on the stripe or not.... I need some help. BTW... this was my first attempt at any kind of bodywork at all, I think I did pretty ok. I'm very happy and Autobody101.com was a big help!

I think you could tape those areas and make your own striped transition. Would have been easier to do had you done it while shooting your green base but still could be done.

Agree 100% with what 68 Coronet R/T said and bet you've got enough paint left in the can to do it. Don't know about now but years ago Ford dealerships carried the tape stripes in the parts department. Might be worth a call. Nice looking job and good luck on the stripes / Coy

Oh you guys are killin me! LOL how hard would it be to do and what would be the procedure to paint those on. Just don't want to mess up what has so far turned out totally awesome at least in my inexperienced opinion. Can't really screw up sticking on a tape stripe like the factory did.LOL I found something similar in black and another in silver, kinda drew it on, on the computer and didn't think it looked bad.....Heck I don't think it looks bad without anything actually, but it would probably just add that little touch to make it look a bit better. Do you think a body shop might be able to get something? Any place be able to make them? If I could find them at a dealership, which I highly doubt anymore, they would probably want a fortune. Just not sure what to do. Wish I would have taped off and painted them on now, but was under time constraints. Always something ain't it?

There are all kinds of pinstripe tape available on the market these days. One of the local auto dealerships specializes in custom pinstriping. I was kinda surprised there is that much of a market. (starting at only $89.95)

Painting it will usually look the best, but you might be able to find something close on a site like this:
http://www.stripeman.com/pin-stripes.htm
https://www.vinylgraphics.net/products/ ... instripes/
I found a lot of pinstripe tape suppliers doing a quick search on Google.
