Go to Clear Coats and Primers listing at the top of the page just above your post. Then go to the 2100 CC and click on the PDF file. You will see it also list a 1.4 tip as usable and farther down the page list Pot Life at 4 hours. Hope this helps / Coy

sorry I didn't get to respond sooner, thanks CaBoy - yes the link to the PDF on that clear is here:
http://www.autobody101.com/store/litera ... C-2100.pdf You'll be fine with the 1.4 tip, just may need to move a little quicker...you should get a feel for it easily. On the pot life I would try hard not to test that 4 hour max. |

About a month ago I sprayed about 4 gallons (RTS) HC-2100 with medium hardener, no reducer on a fifth wheel trailer. Sprayed with my older Iwata LPH94 with a 1.4 tip.
Clear sprayed great. I did get a couple sags early on. I don't use this gun for clear so it took me a slide-out section of the trailer to adjust my distance and speed. After that, I was pretty much spraying like a robot over the long panels to keep the wet edge moving. 4 hours the first day and 10.5 the next and all finished with two coats (three on the nose). |

Do you mean a 980HE? I don't see a 908HE in their lineup? |
