How good is the epoxy paint in the rattle spray cans. The ones you can buy just about anywhere? Is it just a delux enamel or is there more to it.Im allways fixing grinding repairing small frame/chassie parts and don't want to have to mix up a batch for the spray gun.

As it has no hardener it obviously isn't as good as a 2K product. Having said that I had somebody put a double fist sized deep dent in my truck rear rollpan a long time ago and after banging the dent out and adding a bit of filler I just sprayed over it with the weld through rattle can epoxy primer. It took a good ten years before any rust came through and I live near Seattle where it's always wet or so it seems. Had I top coated it would probably still be good, truck needed paint all over so I didn't bother, figured I would get to it eventually.

Find a paint jobber in your area that stocks SprayMax products. 2K Epoxy primer in an aerosol can. Part number 3680032. Works SLICK!
