Mini cooper respray over factory paint amount?

i would of put a white base on the whole car it being orange .That way you would have a uniform colour of orange and you would not need as many coats of orange to try to color a dark color.1 liter of white base plus reducer comes to a 2 liters will do a mini .Then 3 liters of orange base plus reducer comes to 6 liters.Easily do a mini..so on goes your white let flash of then on with the orange.

the mirror caps were dark grey, the car is currently silver, not sure when i will be painting that yet.
