Would 1 pint of bc be all the paint I would need to paint the stripes on my Chevelle if I do not screw up somehow ? I think PPG mixes one to one with thinner or activator for the paint ? I hate to buy a quart If it is a lot more than I need. Thanks guys.

Pretty vague question, I assume you are talking about the classic rally stripes and not going over the roof, and even with that assumption something else to concider is the colors, If you are doing red stripes over black a pint may not do it but if you are going with a dark color over light color a quart sprayable (a pint reduced 1:1) will get it done. Its always nice to have extra paint though if something happens later on and you have another pint of the same color mixed it may not match dead on.
