Totally new to any type of auto body work. Wondering if anyone can give me pointers on how or if i can remove the chrome pieces attached to my doors as seen in the picture. Looks like it would just be solid black under them like truck without the chrome package.

thanks in advance for any help!

There are often special molding removal tools for pieces like that; I'd swing by the dealer and see if they are slow enough that maybe one of the techs will give you a pointer or just pop them off for you.

Those are glued on. You'll destroy them taking off. Plus you'll have to prep and paint black after you clean crap off that held them on. Wrap them with vinyl lots easier.
If it ain't BROKE fix it till it is!!
