I have a 1987 Oldsmobile Delta 88 which was wrecked recently and I need to replace the headlight bezel but it has been discontinued. I found a used one on ebay that they say just has a small crack on it. I think I could plastic weld mine back together or I could at least fix the one on ebay however what do you do about fixing the chrome? Can a place that re-chromes bumpers chrome plastic parts?

Some chrome shops are just starting to offer this service since there is a growing market for old chrome plastic parts. One company in particular was over in Pennsylvania and had a good process for it. Go to.... http://www.paulschrome.com
They don't go into a lot of detail about it on the web site but they do offer welding of plastic as well as chroming it. I'd give them a call.
Dug back into the their web site when I got back and found this page....
