my girlfriend ordered up some wanda basecoat from some company online. i only have these medium cone filters which catches some debri but not all. all i've sprayed before was limco supreme plus and there was nothing in it at all.

have you seen debri in the base coat cans? what micron filter should i be looking for to get at the body shop tomorrow if that will even help?

Their shouldn't be any debris in your paint at all.
a normal automotive paper paint strainer should be all you need to filter out anything in there.
You need to be Shaking you paints in a Paint shaker well before use.
just stirring is not enough, Especially if its been sitting around for a while Run it down to a Paint store and have it shaken Home depot / Lowe's will do it for you in a Pinch.

If I found more than just a tiny bit of unbroken up metal flake or pearl I would get fresh paint. If your finding lumps in primer get fresh Primer and Clears should be that Clear no debris. Maybe a Piece of left over dried clear from the lid or lip or something like that but stuff from the liquid itself no.

Do the cans have rust around the inside lid opening? Even though it's
freshly ordered, it could have been mishandled or sat on a shelf for
awhile. Probably not worth the risk to use.

Well when You order from unkown suppliers you get what you get.
always order from reputable sources Try to send it back for refund. never know?
What they sold you could have been sitting on the shelf for years unless you know for a fact that they mixed it up just for you.

I order Primers and clears in bulk from ********** and get my Base coats from local Dupont dealer. Tamco has really good product's and are sold through this web sight.
With Paint you get what you pay for.
