So my Dodge Ram had a spot on the bottom rear panel, right in front of rear tire, where the paint split and rust was forming. I decided to chip away whatever bad paint was there, sand it down, do a rust primer, and then a filler primer. That's where I got so far, I still need to sand down the primer lightly and then paint. I have a couple questions though as I am new to this.

What grit should I use to sand primer/filler down?

I know I have to blend the paint, so what grit should I use to sand the surrounding paint down slightly with to then put a fresh coat on?

Should I wet sand after paint before clear or just after clear? Also what grit as well?

I don't want it to look like crap, but if it is off a little I'm not to worried cause I plan to find a reputable shop to paint the truck.
