Several of these critters just showed up on my doors
All the hours of filler...blocking ...and 2k primer and i find this when wet sanding 500
im heart broken....but i dont think base and clear is ever gona hide the cracks.
Tomorow its 80 grit DA back to metal and start again.

Well i belive this would be caused by heat, and too much material. Spraying outside?

That is filler cracking. Paint don't crack like that.
What kind of filler did you use ?

After awhile metal starts to rust and to me that's what it looks like. Rust making the filler let go and crack. How long has the filler been on the door ?

I disagree, 2k primer will crack like that.

Well I believe you. That is strange. Cheap primer ? I build my primers well over 15 mils in one priming session. One coat after another on my HDU sign foam and in all the years I been painting have never seen a 2k primer crack like that.

It was a first for me as well but I am pretty certain it was from solvent being trapped and then excessive shrinking.
Just takes the extra time to be sure it flashes off before shooting another coat. With 2k primer that usually isn't very long and doing a complete you might get away with one after another. Reducer temp would play a big part as well.
