Installing back glass glue in

Im installing a rear back glass in a 83 Chevy truck with a custom glue in glass from one piece products, the question I have is the holding surface is only 3/16" of a inch, would this be enough area to hold the glass in, using Sika titan P2G glue

Man, that doesn't sound like much surface area for the glass to "grip" too. I mean, yeah, it's not a windshield but it is kind of structural and not strictly decorative. Almost all the kit cars that I've built over many years had at least a 1 inch wide area for attachment.
