I want to shoot the inside of my hood before a dyna-mat it. It is a 1974 Scout II, so I assume the OEM paint is an enamel based, correct? Can I shoot this type of paint/primer/clear over the sanded OEM Paint?

Uhhhh....lacquer based stuff, I wouldn't. If it's just going to have Dyna mat on it I'd just scuff it up good and hit it with a 2k epoxy and call it a day. Exposed epoxy in this case is never going to see light.
