who uses wet on wet primer regularly and who do you think is the best brand out there?

I'm not sure what you mean by wet on wet. when I apply high build primer or any primer i'll put 2-3 coats on wet on wet. that is 1 coat let it flash 2nd. coat flash and 3rd coat. when you use sealers the are generally wet on wet 1 coat or maybe 2 then flash and color. primers don't work for a sealer unless formulated to be used as a sealer by over reducing.

He does say that he waited the required flash time before applying the second coat.
It appears to me that the product he is spraying is more of a primer/sealer designed to layout smooth and not need to be sanded prior to top coating. 1968 Coronet R/T

You're on the ball mate. I think its a location slang miss understanding. wet on wet primer here in the UK is a primer sealer you're referring to. Jordan Check out my Refinishing channel below!
