That is what I've heard. Also I thought it might be a bit simpler and quicker even though I already have a gallon of clear but that can be used on another project. I only primed what you see in the picture (same on the other side of the cab) so it's not a huge deal to sand and re prime that considering I still have the roof, doors, fenders, hood and bed to do.
