My Problem is I cant get the Stud down to the original level due to my Guns welding Tip size.
The Depth of the windshield channel for sake of Argument is a Half inch deep and the stud needs to be exactly dead center at a quarter inch due the width of the grounding Tip on my gun it wants to place the Stud almost on the edge (Way to hi to be able to use it)

I have found and want to try this attachment myself does any one else have one? or has any one else used one before?

Doright, that is a problem and 90% of the time it's that area that needs a stud or two. I have a Lenco spot welder that has a stud tip that has a much smaller dia. tip that I use. but your still having the current problem. I often thought about buying a cheep stud gun from Horrible Freight and cut the outside cone off as short as you could. this would give you apr. 3/4 of an inch or more depth. you would have to connect a ground wire to were you cut the outside cone off, this could be alligator clipped to a clean spot near were your going to put the stud.

Badsix
That's what I was planning to do with the above add on deal appears to make ground longer and the stinger longer, Looks to be big enough to be modifiable.

I could cut the ground up so its just a single finger like the tip then it would get in there.
I only have two of these that I need to do right now.
