I was very impressed with Tamco SS, and the price was only 1/4 of what PPG concept would have cost.

I am using Automotive Art Motobase LV right now. A 2 stage paint that covers fantastic and lays out real nice.
This is the first project I have used the Tamco HC-2104 Euro Clear on and so far I am very impressed with the ease of spray, gloss and how it buffs. Just sprayed the steering column components yesterday so I will see how it holds up during reassembly.

My other project is ********** Dark Red base and Tamco HC-4100 which I also like. These two projects will help me decide which will be my go to clear.

I'll try to add some pictures of each later.

Steering Column in Subaru Spruce Pearl from Automotive Art with Tamco 2104 as sprayed. This is a two stage paint that finally matches this truck. The paint is dark green metallic but the pearl shines blue under the flash:

Notice in this picture that the step doesn't reflect the blue pearl. This was a match (?) by a local jobber but not a two stage and definitely a no go.

Here is the ********** Dark Red with the Tamco 4100 clear. This is the only picture I have at this point and it was when we test fitted the new emblems.
The Dark Red makes the emblem red look orange. I may suggest a color change on the emblem and see if it wants to go for it.

That column looks like one can stick their arms in up to their elbows...nice.

Do you reduce the 2104?

I did this time but only 5%. I will try it without reducing next go around.

I buy from a guy in Michigan and have it shipped. Used to buy ProSpray from him but I believe the Motobase LV to be better quality after trying it at his recommendation.

Update on shooting the Tamco 2104 Euro Clear.
After experimenting some I have found shooting two coats mixed 2:1 followed by 1 coat mixed 2:1:0.5 with slow or very slow reducer gives a pretty nice finish right out of the gun.

You can imagine how nice this would look with a cut and buff.
