Hi everyone, was wondering if anyone has used Motor City clear by Transtar? How does it compare to the Nason 496 clear? I’m using it to clear guitars so the UV stuff means nothing to me...ive been using nason for a while & never too crazy about it. Plus the Motor city is 25 bucks cheaper a gallon at my supplier here in south Florida.
Thanks for the input!

Motor City is a good clear to use. We keep 2gal stocked on the shelf at all times & I use it mainly for general repairs. I don't use it on higher end or new cars (personal preference only) but I can tell you one of the other guys in the garage swears by it & uses it on EVERYTHING he paints! In my opinion you can't beat the quality for the price & the finish. It also sands & buffs easily if needed. We use part# 8041 w/ the spot & panel activator.
