Hi everyone. I did a search on here, but I couldn't find the exact problem I'm trying to solve. I shot my freshly sand blasted truck in ********** epoxy about a year ago. I'm getting ready for paint finally, so I scuffed all the epoxy with 180 grit. The problem is that I have quite a few areas where the epoxy got pretty thin while scuffing, and a few spots that went to bare metal. Do I need to scuff those bare areas down to 80 grit before I recoat with epoxy, or can I shoot it over the 180 scratch?
