Grey Blotching on Paint.

I have a 2010 Ford Ranger and in the last year i have noticed the paint starting to go blotchy nearly like there is a "shadow" in the paint. I will attach a photo. Would be very appreciated if someone could give me an idea onnehats going on and any sollutions . Thanks

can't really tell from the picture but it could be several things. like something got on it, something laying on it, or some other contaminates. now for the real possibility the clear is failing. it most likely will spread and you will see more in other places, top of cab, top of box, top of front fenders, places that get direct sun exposure. please note I said, could be several things that can cause this. without being there to see it its hard to tell. if the clear is failing the solution would be to strip it and refinish. before you get in a panic why don't you take it by a competent detail person and see what they say.
