I mix the powder into an intercoat clear. Pick a solid base color, but definately measure everything! Touch ups are a pain. Also, be careful what your base color is compared to your pearl. Using different colors (for example a green pearl over a blue base) can really make some ugly unexpected colors! I used a gold pearl over a black base once and got the ugliest pearl brown ever seen!!! So definately spray a test panel or twelve with minor variations in pearls.

:goodpost: YES defiantly check what your end color will be. I put blue pearl on a red pickup for a guy ( that's what he wanted) and it made kind of a pink looking color. I had to laugh.
