Thought this might help someone. I needed to close the gap around the doors of my Mini, where I'm using 1994 doors with roll-up windows and internal hinges on my 1975 pickup. The doors are slightly narrower.

nice job, that gives me an idea around the boot area of my corolla, the factory line tapers around the boot and it gets too close to the bootlid, I was gonna grind some off the bootlid (trunklid for you guys!!) but it wasn't gonna be enough so I might grind somme off the boot and put a slice in the 1/4 panel to close it up to make the gap wider where I need it!!
so the same but opposite, I need a bigger gap!!

That is what we did with the lower part of the panel. The new door was too wide at the door part and too narrow at the window part.

But I wasn't there to video it.
