I got my evercoat for like $45 for a gallon, and I'm not a buisness/shop.
A few of my welds I can't get behind and I only have basic hammer and dolly and a welder. This car isn't goig to be valueble any time soon, I'd like to at least get the body done so I can be out in spring. It should need much filler just a glazing over most patch work.
The best way to handle puckered weld seams...

Ya if you shop around you can find Rage, Rage gold, Rage Extreme etc. at good prices.
I'm paying like $15-$20 a gallon for the Light weight at my jobber and the Plastic honey a qt can lasts forever a little bit goes a long ways its like $15 qt. You can add or use it in almost all of their Fillers BUT not all of them, The Polly fillers are a no no for sure I don't know about the newer stuff like Quantum. Dennis B.

For using filler on a deeper dent, is there a different filler I should apply first before the evercoat rage gold?

I am guilty of having done it & I have never read anything about doing it that way. Generally stacking materials is a no no a Bad thing. Dennis B.

WELDS SHRINK PERIOD.You don't shrink a puckered weld seam you stretch via hammer on dolly.
