This is a 20 yr old Centari job, no clear. It was a dry rough paint, I wet sanded with 200 and buffed it with a wool pad and Meguires 105 compound. I then used 3M perfect it machine glaze. The paint looked pretty good. Yesterday I washed the car and pulled it in the garage and dried it. Under the lights I could see a lot of sanding scratches and water stains. I don't want to buff it any more as the paint is getting thin. This is a dark maroon, metallic color. Anything I can do? Thanks

200 is waaaaaaay to rough. Should be 1000-1500 grit sand paper to buff

LOL, missed a 0, it is 2000 grit. |
You should have gone over the m105 with the m205 followed by the machine glaze.
