hello everyone

i finished buffing and polishing a lexus ls400. (not a small car)
all of the fenders and doors came out flawless. but the hood and the trunk are still hazy, i polished them the same way though. is there something different that i should be doing?? i cant figure it out for the life of me, ive tried reducing pressure and putting extra pressure and neither changes it.

im using 3m wool cutting pad with perfect it 3 compound
and 3m black foam polishing pad with perfect it 3 glaze

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
