soft film ?

after wet sanding with 1500 then 2000,I'm still getting scratch marks that do not come out after it's buffed and polished. Can this be SOFT FILM ? If so what is it and how can I get rid of it.

Are you sure these are not sand scratches in the substrate? If so no amount of buffing or polishing will remove them cause they are below the clear coat and the base coat. Good luck.

One other possibility is that you were not finatic about cleanlyness while you were sanding and you picked up some dirt or grit on your sandpaper.
