i'm painting the front of my outter grill. it's a small piece so I decided to paint it myself with a rattle can. Can anyone give me some tips? I know what to do it's the sandpaper grit that I can't figure out. Please give me some tips.

Let me know what grit to use when sanding it down, then primer, then sanding, color, and sanding. Thanks! :D

Check the "body & paint" section of this forum and look for the post named "[ Poll ] What grit to use? (STICKY ME!)" This is a good explanation and the correct area for paint questions. Lots of other great stuff out there in this forum, just need to search for it.
