What is the best way to blend this paint line into existing paint. It is a Nason 2K ful-base metalic with Nason Clearcoat. I tried rolling back the tape at the edge but had trouble doing so, the line being on a curve. I have not had good resuts sanding metalic becuse of the color being mainly on the surface. I also do not want to break through the clear coat. Any ideas?

Sand it flat,prime the area if you have to,if not spot in your base and blend it and clear the whole panel or melt your in your clear with blending solvent.Clearing the complete panel is the best/fool proof way.
