i just got done painting a r model mack with dupont nason ful base acrylic enamel. (has hardner) (metallic) I got one annoying sag on the top of the hood right by the bulldog. this will agrivate me every time i open the hood. I know that if i wet and the sag down i might run through the metalic, but if i dont sand through the paint will it buff out shiny? I might not notice the non metallic spot compared to the sag. Please advise thanks.

It will buff out shiny if done correctly. But being mettalic on single stage it will make the metallic mess up as you have mentioned.
