Cutting/buffing tight areas?

I just finished spraying my '70 Datsun 240z with single stage acrylic urethane, no clearecoat. Some orange peel in places which I plan on color sanding and cutting/buffing, no problems there.

But a couple of spots like the deep dish headlights are stumping me. My wool buffer is fine on flat panels, but what's the best method for getting into tight/concave areas to cut/buff? A mini buffing wheel of some sort?

In these tight areas the best way to do it is by hand. I would use 1500 w/d to color sand it then up that to 2000. Then use a rubbing compound and follow with a machine glaze. If you can find a small 3" sanding /buffing system that would work best. But that's expensive. The cheapest way would be to do it by hand. But that will take time as well. lol

If I could make a recommendation, in the future intercoat your single stage with clearcoat on the last cost.
It will provide a much higher DOI, extra UV protection, and extra mills for cutting and buffing later on.
