I need to polish the inside of my headlight buckets. They are sanded 2000 right now. The 7” buffer is way too big. Any recommendations on small buffers, or should I do this by hand some how?

Try www.eastwood.com and check out their many unusual shaped small buffs. If I remember right they make a 3 inch or so mushroom style buff that could go on a drill or rotary grinder.

Thanks, the guy at the paint store said I could also do it by hand. Will that work?

Sure, if you can get your hand in there and get some pressure and motion going you can buff anything by hand. In my furniture biz I have to work on a lot of coatings by hand or I would blow through the coating with a buffer. It's just hard slow work.

Excelent, the area there is not too big so I may see if that works. Thanks.
