what causes a hazy look to the clear after buffing?

Discuss anything after that final masking comes off.

Maybe the ultra cut needs to be followed up with a finer compound, on a waffle foam pad? I usually use wizards compounds, and thats what i end up doing.

Use a machine glaze (no grit in this compound) (and IF you removed all the sand scratches out prior) WITH a black foam pad. 3M or others sell them. That should remove the haze.

Did it look glossy after you were done, then go hazy after?

Also if you use the same pad as you use your compound with and your machine glaze with, that can cause a issue as well as a fyi.
