Does anyone have any tips on removing dirt nibs & such without having to make the clear dull & buff or respray?

If the paint/clear is still wet, then a pair of extra fine point jewelers tweezers (stainless steel!) and a very steady hand can save a lot of rework/buffing time. A clean, fine point sewing needle can sometimes work as well.

If it's dry, there's no magical solution. To minimize the area being affected, you can really isolate the imperfection using the Shim Mask by DeVilbiss. It's like the old drafting erasing shields from days gone by, but with openings better suited for automotive paint repair. Works much better than tape!

Hope this helps!
